A lot of wifi issues, old firmware?

Post by JesCR » 27 Oct 2019, 19:35

Hi.
I have a lot of problems with my relay, a lot of "can't connect with the relay" problems.
I check my smart thermostat and the relay is in firmware 174, and the thermostat in firmware 65.

Could you please, @Brieuc_Netatmo or other admin, push a firmware update?
i see that now there are v203 (Relay) / v71 (Thermostat) versions...

Thermostat: j1c01b8 v65
Relay: g1b9372 v174

Thanks!

hi
it depends, do you have smart valve with your relay ?
If Yes, then you need the firmware update.

If no valve, then you have the last firmware : https://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4391

If possible, try to move your relay closer to the wifi, and/or the thermostat closer to the relay
In the case that you still have issue, you should open a ticket to the assistance
Relais : 70:ee:50:0c:5a:24 (v210)
Thermostat : j0c349e (v72)
Vannes : o03dc8d (v81) ; o03dbfc (v81)

Thanks @Kuketsu
Yesterday i move the relay closer to the router, but i still have a lot of problems...
I will try to change my config and connect the relay to the wallet and the thermostat to the boiler...

I also have problems with relay for about a week. The Android app has been loading for a long time, the web application usually reports that it is not possible to connect (or relay with exclamation marks), but after reloading the page (F5) everything is loaded. the relay did not switch. It wasn't until after about 2 minutes that it worked. I have been running everything in the same configuration for several years.

I am in a state where I am no longer interested in these problems and am thinking about another thermostat. I am going to write this off as a wasted investment / 3 years.
