Weather Station as an additinal indoor temperature sensor

Post by andertl »

Hi, I have Netatmo thermostat and valves and I have a problem with measuring the correct temperature in some rooms. The problem is that the valve is in the corner of the room and the temperature in other parts of the room is very different. My question is, if I have Netatmo Weather Station, is the thermostat able to average the temperature from the valve and the station and use is as the room temperature? Or is there any other solution how to measure room temperature more accurate?

I'm also interested in this.

If the indoor modules could be used it would give them much more purpose!

please, netatmo, consider this as a very desired feature.. to me much much more important than something like open-window-detection

Please netatmo, this is really important.. much more than redesigning app icons or window open detection...
Valves are not much of use without correct temperature.

well, this would be game changer. I personally dont have automatic valves, because of false temperature readings by valves. But connecting valve with indoor sensor from Netatmo weather station would make a lot of sense. You can have main station.+ 3 additional modules, so you could connect up to 4 valves..
Honeywell has this solution. Netatmo, can you hear us?

+1 here, why i bothered buying so much netatmo gear!
and while we're at it, how about using all the welcome cameras as occupancy sensors to auto set away mode...? food for thought...
