So it is possible to do a firmware update yourself with the installation wizard?
Home: Weather Station (V3 + Rain & Wind Gauge, 3 additional Indoor Modules, Shield), Valves Starter Pack + 7 Valves, Video Doorbell
Office: Thermostat (V2), Healthy Home Coach, Smoke Alarm, 2 2in1 Sensors

Correct. With installation wizard you can upgrade relay fw. Then relay upgrades thermostat automatically in few hours.

My relais ( 70:ee:50:1a:cc:6a ) has firmware 71.
But my thermostat ( j1ab682 ) is still on 40.

How can I trigger the upgrade on the thermostat?
Or can this be triggered remotely?

Thanks

Does it continue in PID mode or is it starting all over again, when doing the install wizard?

Thanks

Moreover would be great to have the changelog. I think this kind of support involving end-users is great to have a lot of feedbacks, but Netatmo staff hardly reply here...

Did you tried to update it yourself?
Rerun wifi configuration from Netatmo thermostat app.
Once done remove batteries from your thermostat, then put them back in.
Wait 6 hours... Your thermostat should be up to date.

Hello,
mistake in this post, at the date of 29 october 2016, the firmware version up to date, for the thermostat with white light is not relay 71 and thermostat 60, but is :
- relay 71
- thermostat 40
Regards
fabiochi wrote:I did the same and successfully updated the relay fw with installation wizard. After few hours it updated the thermostat as well.
Now I have
- old thermostat/relay with blue light: relay 68 and thermostat 60
- new thermostat/relay with white light: relay 71 and thermostat 60
It seems Netatmo has different fw for old and new relay
@Brieuc_Netatmo: which are the differences between relay fw 68 and 71 behind the support for HomeKit? which is the roadmap Netatmo has for old relay (blue light one)? I think Netatmo has to clarify it to all the people having spent money with devices became old in few months
