I've just read about the new radiator valves, and I'm excited about them! Just what I was looking for

Does anyone know if these are like the Honeywell evohome radiator valves, whereby if the great does under the required , it'll fire up the boiler?

They look pretty much the same as those Tado valves which are available by now. Now I don´t know if I should wait?! Netatmo seems a little cheaper (180€ vs. 200€).

Open questions:

- Tado can detect if anyone is at home, Netatmo too?
- to what extend is it possible to set the heating time schedule, Tado looks pretty complex
- costs for an extra valve? edit: looks like (Tado 79€ and Netatmo 70€)
- availability end 2016?!, Tado just launched
- which heating algorithm is smarter? Tado seems to have more experience in thermostats
- does Netatmo uses additional information of other Netatmo products at home (in and outdoor sensors)

Thanks but I don´t quite believe it. Yesterday I contacted the netatmo support via Twitter and they told me they can´t even tell if they will be released this or next year...

I really want them because they have an algorithm that detects opened windows. Tado doesn´t support this yet and there will be some time untill they will implement this.

A real unique selling point is the look an feel of the valve app, I hope they can provide some small preview to this?!
