I have the same issues, rele disconnected from servers once a week (at least).
I fix it restarting the router... But it's a big problem when i'm out...

By the way... i also have the weather station, but i can't make the thermostat to get the outside temperature from it... ¿?

No. But connecting to the wifi extender works fine, no disconnection. I have them only if I connect the relay to the main router.

Maybe here is a little help for the FritzBox users:
I had the same issue with the Netatmo and the Chromecast.
I gave both units a fixed IP-address and then it worked.

Hello my fellow Netatmo Thermostat sufferers -

I've installed my Thermostat one week ago - and everything worked impressingly well. This night for the first time there was a disconnection for several hours, today from time to time as well. I'd be happy if somebody can help me find out how to avoid this (and yes, I've sent an e-mail to the Netatmo support, but God knows when or if they are going to answer).

In the manual they write, that in case of disconnections or Wifi problems, the adjusted time plan will be executed anyway. I can not confirm this. This morning I woke up in a horribly cold appartment and it was clear, that the time plan (which means to start the heating at 5 a.m.) wasn't executed.

Then suddenly I could reach the Relais through App and Netatmo Thermostat device and I controlled my heating manually, and after a while suddenly the connection failed again.

- Wifi is constantly working
- Relais has strong wifi signal (if it's not disconnected, of course)
- Battery is fresh

I'm using a Vodafone Easybox Router.

Ideas anybody? Thank you very much.

Hi Sebastian,

unfortunately this device "sucks". It always disconnects from the wifi with no apparent reason and you will NEVER get a support from NetAtmo people.
My suggestion? Replace it with something more serious
