[REQUEST] Feature requests

Post by Un4Seen »

1. Room-by-room setting for the Away temperature, not one global Away temperature as it is today. Some rooms may contain plants or other things which require higher temperatures in away mode.

2. When setting a manual boost, ability to choose when the manual boost will end: after a given time period (this is available today), when the next automatic switch will occur because of the schedule or keep the manual boost alive until the user cancels it (just like with the Away mode).

3. Ability to create a new schedule by coping an existing schedule. Usually schedules have many heating periods which are the same between the different schedules because the periods describe activity types. Currently creating a detailed schedule from scratch is very time consuming and it's hard to make sure that the temperature values for each heating period match with the temperature values from the same heating period from another schedule (which may be desired).

4. Possibility to have special characters in schedule names and in heating period names such as slashes, parenthesis, brackets, dots, etc. ("/", "\", "(" , ")", "[", "]", ".", etc.).

5. Ability to assign icons to heating periods from a built-in icon library (containing symbols for common activities such as sleeping, waking up, going to sleep, working, etc, for objects such as house, room, living, bed, kitchen, etc, people, etc). The goal is to be able to assign an icon to each heating period and be able to recognize that heating period easily. The current solution of assigning one letter to the heating period is not the best. Also show these little icons above the periods in the schedule overview and everywhere where the heating period is shown on the UI.

6. Ability to delete the default heating periods (Comfort, Comfort+, Night, Eco). For people who create their own custom heating periods it's frustrating that they can't get rid of these default heating periods.

7. If the operating mode is set to "comfort" the valves can request the boiler to turn on. We need a clear overview of when each valve requested the boiler to be on in some given period of time, to be able to figure out if the boiler is heating unnecessarily because the target temperature of a valve is set too high, even though there is nobody in that room. I would like to be able to check how much of the time the boiler was on because the living room requested it, how much it was on because the bedroom requested it, how much it was on because the kitchen requested it, etc.

8. Geo-fencing. Set the heating to Away automatically when exiting an area and set it back to schedule automatically when entering an area. Yes, I know, this can be done with IFTTT, but that is unreliable, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. The Energy app should support this natively.

9. Show outside temperature and weather type (sunny, cloudy, rain, snow, etc) icon on graphs even if there is no weather station linked.

10. Android widget for each room to see the temperature in that room and for quick manual boost. Also a quick "Away" widget (on/off).

11. Push notifications in on the phone (android, IOS) when the boiler changes state.

12. For each room show how many hours the boiler was on today (or in the last 24 hours maybe) because the given room requested it. This might be one elegant solution for request 7.

@Netatmo Any news about these feature requests? Have you at least made the decision to implement some of them? If yes, which ones and in what time frame?

Thank you!
