Congratulations for Netatmo to be one of the first HomeKit vendors to support the new Homekit Secure Video API. Anyone with an iCloud account and a 200GB account will get up to 10 days of recording for free. Much better then FTP of DropBox IMHO. And all the data is secure and private.

Can't wait to try this out this summer...

I'm also very much looking forward to this new feature. Perhaps someone official from Netatmo could briefly comment? Will this be available to existing customers via firmware update?

I quote Fred Potter.

"We are very excited to be working with Apple to provide Netatmo users the best smart home experience and the most advanced technologies that protect user privacy and security. A free, automatic firmware update will add HomeKit Secure Video support to existing Netatmo Smart Indoor Cameras and Smart Outdoor Cameras later this year."

How can I sign up for the next beta? I have 3 outdoor cameras. Are you going to take the same approach for the outside cams?
Thanks!
