[Netatmo Presence Outdoor Camera] "Video Unavailable. The camera is disconnected"

Just bought the Netatmo Presence Outdoor Camera but can't get it to work out of the box. I plugged in the mains power, downloaded the app and configured my network. However the the camera doesn't want to connect. It says "Video unavailable. The camera is disconnected' and doesn't show the camera feed.

I've tried to redo the setup but it often shows the error "sorry, we lost the connection to the camera. The installation will restart". I've tried unplugging the power, updating the firmware but nothing has worked.

Have I just gotten a dud? Does it have to do with my network?

Any advice? Thanks!
