Welcome tag as window glass smash sensor?

I would like to attach one welcome tag directly on a window glass in one corner. This way, is the tag able to detect if someone smashes the glass?

Yes, the Tag will detect each vibration or motion. If the glass is smashed, vibrations and motion would certainly be detected!
