@PhilTheMill: could you please check if your camera has been placed in the off state? The Tags' events are not displayed in the timeline when the camera is off.
Hello Brieuc_Netatmo,

Just returned from my holiday and added a newly received replacement tag. At a distance of 15 meters the calibration failed and after a couple of minutes the signal was lost also. BTW the camera was on!

I'm beginning to loose confidence in the Netatmo tags.

Here the same issue with 1 tag. lost signal - found signal, maybe 15 times a day.
I'm beginning to regret this purchase!!! tag placed 8 meter from camera and almost no signal.
tag id 70:ee:50:17:43:79
camera id 70:ee:50:14:04:37

80 meter ??? You should adjust this on the website!!!
thanks

Is there likely to be a software fix for the constant drop in connection, or is this just poor hardware? If the tags can't be fixed does anyone know how to get a refund? I am finding that support do not reply to messages.

I wonder if the problem with lost signal will help, if installing wifi repeater/extender close to the tag which is not working and maybe install one in the room where the camera is as well.
I have the problem with one of my tags, about 25m away from the camera. The signal must go through several walls, but can also more directly go through a window and out to the door where it is placed on the inside of the door.
Anyone has any experiences with wifi repeater or know if it will work?

A WiFi repeater / extender will not improve the signal because the tags don't use WiFi and its frequencies to communicate.
- Tags: ~868 MHz (as seen in another thread)
- WiFi: ~2,4 GHz / ~5 GHz

I also need to add myself to this list of issues, 3 metres away and 1 bar sometimes unreachable - indoors.

Thought it worthwhile to say, I tried using energiser ultimate lithium batteries in my furthest away tag (still only 3-4 metres away!), its made no difference to the signal strength bar but I am getting it calibrated, will wait and see how it goes with the unreachable notifications.

After night 1 using energiser lithium batteries, one tag now has 2 bars instead of 1 & no lost signal notifications from any of my tags with these batteries - will continue to monitor. Edit* after day 2 theres very little difference, I'm still getting occasional signal loss notifications :(
