Hi,
yes its me, guy who reported problem with robotic wacuum cleaner....
I'm getting another false alarms:
1. At night our cat's eyes are too bright (?!) and causing motion detected
2. In windy weather getting alarm due to sunbeam changes on stairs
Second problem is, that there is strange behaviour of "RED LIGH LED" which should report live view or recording. It is when we are siting in living room.
Recording is disabled for both of us and our child who has recording enabled always is not seen for about hour.. so why is red light still on??? Somebody watching us?
EDIT: I have to say, I'm on FW169 - I'll update topic when 'll get fw180 updated
False alarm - Sunlight beams
Re: False alarm - Sunlight beams
The red light should be the ir sensor... or not?
Re: False alarm - Sunlight beams
Possible, right now.. I have found that live-view is indicated by smaller flashing LED light.Venom466 wrote:The red light should be the ir sensor... or not?
So, IR pre-light is in visible band ? Or is it just indicator ??
Welcome is also very hot, is it normal ??
Re: False alarm - Sunlight beams
When the ir is active you can see the red light in the bottom of the camera.
The camera is always hot because the case of he camera is used for dissipate the heat.

Hello,
The red light is indeed the IR LED. Most of the light is invisible but your eyes can see part of it in the form of red light. All near-IR LED are this way, so you don't have to worry about it.
As for the issues that @prybka reported in the first post, were they solved by v180? Can you please update us on that?
Thanks,
