I would like to know how Netatmo calculates the maximum gust wind of the day.
If the anemometer measures the average speed of the last 5 minutes, how do you calculate the maximum gust wind day?
Is a average or is a real max gust wind?

Hello,
The wind gauge measures 5 minutes average wind speed and direction and gusts. The black graphic represents the gusts and the blue one represents the average speed of the wind.
More than 50 measurements per 5 minute interval are gathered in order not to miss any wind gust and have enough measurements to provide a reliable average.
