Recording

I’ve been looking at these cameras. Do they record video? If yes, is it stored locally or on the cloud?

Look no further! Yes, these cameras record video on motion detection and store locally on an SD Card, and you can also set them up to record to Dropbox, Apple Homekit Video and an FTP server if you want to set it up. You can watch live stream in the application or on the Web App, and view or download any video recording of detected motion (people, animals, vehicles).

Thanks Hoodoo. FTP and HomeKit Video sounds like good options.

Is the motion detection to the point of starting to record quick?

Yes, the motion detection and recording works well. Typically, when viewing a recorded video, it starts about 5-10 seconds before the motion is actually detected so you can see the scene prior to any movement.
