Video playback more unstable than before?

Over the last couple of month I have noticed that playback seems to be more unreliable than before, some examples :-

When playing through the website:
some videos will never load, just get the spinning circle over the thumbnail.
If you try and skip forward on some videos you get the spinning circle and have to start from the beginning.

On the phone app (android):
some videos are just a static image even though the player shows the video progression.
some videos just won't play (loading circle).
Some videos will say they have a huge duration (something like 700 minutes long)
if you try and skip forward the video will just start playing from the beginning.
video will only load if the left hand thumbnail is highlighted.
regular download failed message when saving to device.

I have noticed it is inconsistent too so some files just won't play on the website but work fine on the phone & vice versa.

is it just me or has this always been like this and I just haven't noticed?

It's not just you, I'm experiencing same issue on iOS as well.
In addition, most of my recordings break out during playback.
Sometimes, my videos start showing erroneous huge durations as well and they can play only audio, if I try to play them.
Other times, camera stops responding to Live play but recordings and notifications still work relatively ok.
Restart of the camera will resolve the issues for a few days but then the problems appear again.

i have all of these issues still.... web and IOS.... its been the same for many users for a long time.....

Hi Netatmo Team,
2 months later - any news?

On my iOS device, I can’t watch most of the videos. After the loading circle, the screen turns black and the counter is going backwards (??)) - but I can hear the sound.

Please fix the playback issues!

This must be a BIG update! They had time to work on it since March 21st 2018.

Very annoying. Live stream is always about 10s delayed even when connecting to the camera directly (local IP address using the local access key => http://<Local-IP>/AccessKey/live/index.m3u8). The strange thing is that when registering the camera in Apple HomeKit there is no delay at all. Delay is then also gone in the Netatmo app. As soon as you de-register the camera from Apple HomeKit the delay is back in the Netatmo app.
This is means it is possible to get a real-time live feed without delay. Has anyone figured out how to get the real-time feed from the camera without Apple HomeKit integration (e.g. in VLC) ?
