Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Hi, It is a scandal what Netatmo by Legrand is doing. I will never recommend Netatmo ( Security Cameras) equipment to anyone ever again. It is unbelievable !!! how you can send the wrong firmware to security cameras.
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
I don't know why they mess with detection (if it ain't broke don't fix it), fair enough security updates are fine but detection was working fine a few updates ago why mess with it??
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Probably the algorithms in the cloud have also broken down and the detection is malfunctioning
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Upgrade 3.3.3 this morning, lets see ..
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
I am running 3.3.3 for 2/3 days now and it still detects mouvements outside the defined zone, and is no longer able to properly identify the cause. So do not expect much from it !
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
3 updates since this morning ; i'm now on 3.3.4 version
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Has it fixed anything? I’m still on 3.2.0 here with 3 ornaments strapped to the walls of my house !
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Firmware 3.3.4 is online
Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
Any joy with the new updates, mine is still on the faulty 3.2.0!? It's so annoying it's ridiculous the amount of events the camera is missing at night, it also won't pickup motor bikes as well as people. My 3rd of the price PIR camera has become my Main security camera now, which is ridiculous when Netatmo is supposed to be a premium product?!?! I counted 20 missed events at night seeing what the PIR camera picked up, which is crazy, plus this camera is cheaper and 2k video quality.
Why can't Netatmo do a good update, like recording in H.265 format to make videos take up less room, that would actually help instead of pratting around with detection algorithms?

Re: Lousy detection after firmware update (3.2.0)
No hope here, I still have the exact same issue I had from Sep 24.
3.3.4 is running for 6 hours now, and is identifying movements outside my zones, as well as unable to properly identify the reason (but I don't care, as there is nothing to see and detect ...)
