Blinking floodlight

Post by Fredrik » 27 Jun 2017, 09:53

Hi
I'm a newbie in this forum. Have installed 2 brand new Presence and everything went without any trouble but noticied one thing when floodlights are on during night, it blinks for a quarter of seconds every 2minutes. Both units have this issue.
One lamp is close to a TV/living room and it can be spotted from there which can be a little bit irritating when watching TV.
Anyone else who had this problem?
Something with the LED driver/power supply?

I experience the same problem with an interval of exactly 1 minute.
This is very irritating, is a solution available?

The same for me. We tolked about it here viewtopic.php?f=42&t=7058#p34839.

I don't use precence with the floodlight in automode because this behavior is really frustrating.

I hope that Netatmo fix this bug soon.

It is a topic that started in november 2016!
Is there someone from Netatmo around to make a statement.
This is not acceptable and I will return the cam when this problem is not solved in short term.

Hello all,
This behavior is normal. The floodlight blinks to check whether it should stay on or there's enough light to turn it off.
We understand that checkeing every minute can be annoying and are working on a better way of doing so.
Please be patient for the update to fix it.
Thanks a lot,
Jofre - Netatmo Team

Thank you for your response jofre.
Now we know that this is a desired behavior and we have an official Netatmo response.
We look forward to the upcoming updates.
Michele
