Measurement of CO2 and calibration

Post by ignasitort »

My monitor it seems always measures above 600 ppm , even if I place it directly in an open window. I may expect that with all windows open and no people in the room the measurement should drop until 400ppm, or somewhere between 450ppm and 550 ppm definetely, but it keeps stubornly above 600-700 ppm. Last week it arrived to 400 ppm, so I think it should return to it with very good ventilation and no one at home.
Temperature , humidity and noise nevertheless change as expected when I open all windows.
Is it necessary to recalibrate the monitor?
