Webhook url setup on a per home/location basis?

Post by ketil »

Is it possible to create a unique webhook configuraiton on a per home basis?
I would like to have lets say 3 seperate home/locations X Y and Z
And i would like this to be on the same account, but i would like each location to be configured with their own webhook url, so i can point each location to individual servers.

Is this possible by any change or is there a way i can submit it as a feature request somewhere :)

All the best.

Hi,

Unfortunately, 1 app = 1 webhook endpoint. So, it's not possible to set multiple endpoints for the same application
But when you receive a webhook event, you receive device ID and home ID values. It will be on the same endpoint, but you will be able to know which device was triggered in a specific home
On my side, I'll report your feature request to concerned contacts

Have a good day,

Hi Leslie, thanks for the update and the info, it is greatly appreciated.
Being able to create apps on "per home basis" would be great, so i could send alerts based on which server a customer is associated with.

A loadbalancer/webgateway for webhook distribution is unfortunately not a viable solution in our case, so we are looking forward to seeing if the feature becomes a thing :)

Stay safe and take care.
