Java & Netatmo's SSL Certificate

Post by ejain » 05 Apr 2013, 08:33

Netatmo's StartCom-issued SSL certificate is not recognized by Oracle's Java. So anyone using Java will either have to jump through some hoops to make this work (see e.g. https://forum.startcom.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1815), or (more likely) just issue all requests unsecured.

Is there any chance Netatmo might consider switching to a certificate provider that is more widely supported?
