Are Refresh tokens linked to users ?

Post by jc999 » 30 Jan 2019, 09:09

I would like to store config and app-customisation per user of my app. But I would like to avoid putting in place an other login/password process in addition to the oauth of Netatmo.
So my question, are the Refresh tokens unique per user ? Do they change when the user remove the grants and re-grants again later on ?

Refresh token are linked to a user yes and unique. They do change when the user removes an app and then re -link it. However, only the first part of the refresh token will not be changed for sure. We can't guarantee that the refresh will never change otherwise.
