Rain gauge different measurements

Post by lucex » 02 Mar 2015, 18:00

Hi all,
I found in the API these values for measured rain values
{"rain_60min":0,"rain_24h":0,"rain_live":0,"rain_timeutc":1420635857}

what is the correct definitions of the values?
rain_60min is rain accumulated in the last hour from the moment of call? or last absolute hour (eg. from 15:00 to 16:00)?
Rain_24h same doubts as rain_60min but extended for 24 hours
rain_live stand for last measurement of rain received from station? in which time interval? those set up from station owner for the transmition of data?
rain_timeutc is related to rain_live?
I searched by single variable in the forum but I did not find any information.
thank you for your replay

Hello,

"rain_live" reading correspond to the last measurement seen.
Start: rain_timeutc – 5 minutes
End : rain_timeutc

"rain_60min" correspond rain accumulation measured during the following period
Start: Now – 60min
End: rain_timeutc.

" rain_24h" correspond rain accumulation measured during the following period
Start : 00:00 in the Station timezone
End : rain_timeutc
