Basic webhook use issue with Welcome

Post by Pickles » 08 May 2017, 23:17

I've got a Welcome and I'm trying to write an application that does something based on the Welcome events of people being seen. I created a webhook service that just logs what gets posted to it. I added the URL in my app settings page as well as used the curl command but it's not getting anything. The node.js code looks like this:

Code: Select all

router.post('/welcomeWebhook',function(req, res, next){
  var dataString = req.body;
  console.log("We have something from netamoto :" + dataString);
  res.send("we good");
});
I tested posting stuff to it and when I do it I see my logs. Why am I not getting anything from the Welcome? I've poured through all the documentation I could find and didn't see anything I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you get any further with this?

The documentation seems rather limited and insufficient I have to say.
