Thermostat: status of boiler (ON or OFF) in realtime

Post by vittoriob » 31 Oct 2017, 09:27

Hi

is there a way to know if the boiler is on or off at the time of the request?
I haven't found this information, but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks
Vittorio

/api.netatmo.com/api/getthermostatsdata returns "therm_relay_cmd" in the {devices} section. For my relay, at least, this has a value of "0" for OFF and "100" for ON. I don't know if this is documented anywhere. The fact that the "ON" value is not a "1" might mean it is bit-encoded to say why it is ON. Who knows? ;)

(call 'syncthermstate' first, to ensure data is up-to-date.)

It's working!

Now I have to understand how to write a simple script (python?) to grab data every once in a while with cron to get status update.

Thanks!!!

PS I was able to write a small shell script that solved my needs.
