Hello,

I found an error in Japanese on netatmo site. When I download a data more than 4 months from netatmo site, a popup window appears. The Japanese sentence which is written there is wrong. The error is the second line. '選択期間は、' is 'Selection period is' in English. This is incomplete sentence.

I can help to translate in Japanese. If you need, feel free to tell me.

Hello Tanaike,

Thanks a lot for your feedback,

Currently the English sentence is "The selected period could not exceed 3 month in this scale.". The Japanese translation displayed is "選択期間は、".

As you suggest, that would be great if you could propose me a translation in Japanese. Unfortunately, I don't speak Japanese.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Marty,
Thank you for your reply.
I propose my translation to Japanese. Since I found another sentence which is needed a bit modification, also I report it.

- English: The selected period could not exceed 3 month in this scale.
Current sentence is "選択期間は、".
Literal translation is "選択期間は、このスケールでは3か月を超えることができません。".
Free translation is "選択する期間は、3か月間以内にしてください。".
I think the free translation is better for Japanese people than that of the literal translation.

- English: Please select the data rate.
This can be seen at setting download data.
Current sentence is "データーの周波数を選択してください。".
Modified sentence is "データの取得周期を選択してください。".

I'm Japanese. And I have educated at university in Japan and in America. If I'm helpful for you and other people, I'm glad.
Thank you,

Hello Tanaike,

I chose the free translation following your advice.

I updated those two sentences in our internal tool for managing translation. It should go in live in following weeks.

I will take care of it.

Thanks a lot for your help again !
