Open Window detection

Post by MaxGen »

Hi, is It possible to know if open Window is working properly Atm? I have 6 valves with last firmware and when i open a Window to change some air It doesn't switch off the valve. Is It possible that temperature isn't going down so fast? Thanks

Hi,
Open Window detection is not available yet.
Our engineers are doing their best to release it as soon as possible.

Hi, I just bought it and it was a big disappointment that this marketed feature is not available. This is false advertisement. Kindly tell me when it will be available otherwise I will return it immediately. Thx Jakub

I really hope that hurry to release this useful feature, was one of the reasons why I bought it. You should still write it clearly on the site that the feature is not currently available.

I noticed several times myself that it didn't seem to work, which has finally been confirmed...

As a customer, I'm not pleased at all with this kind of communication.
Until now, this feature-yet-to-be-released has cost me energy instead of saving energy.

Do not urgent the future. Give it time to release it when it works properly. I don't want a future full of bugs. I'm ok waiting and knowing it will come. It's allmost the end of the winter, why should hurry?

For those who have also a weather station, IFTTT might bring a solution for open window detection.

If the (additional) indoor weather station module detects a (sudden) drop of CO2-levels under a prespecified range, you may be quite sure a window in the room has been opened, eg. in a bedroom.
High time to close those smart radiator valves in that room to save energy!

Half of the IFTTT logic is available already; however the IFTTT-control of the smart radiator valves still has to been defined.

Brieuc, will IFTTT-control of the smart radiator valves also be available?

Hello all,

Yes we plan to allow the Valves to be manageable through IFTTT.

However, no precise date of release is known.
