Hello,
I only have the Netatmo thermostat for less than one month.
It happened a few times that a valve is supposed to trigger the boiler, the boiler switches on but the valve remains closed.
This condition lasts forever because the valve will never reach the set temperature if it is closed. And in the meantime the boiler keeps heating the water without circulating it into the radiators.
The only way to get out of this condition for me is switching of the relay.
Has this happened to somebody else?
Thanks
Gianni
Boiler switched on with all valves closed

Hi,
what firmware versions do you have on your devices? Have you tried recalibrating the valves?

Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
I have firmware 189 / 69 / 66
Re-calibrating the valves does not resolve the issue

Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
I did experienced similiar issue. It was mechanical / calibration issue. Netatmo promised firmware with calibration fix within few weeks, but i fixed it with replacing mechanical valve on the radiator.

Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
If it was a mechanical issue how do you explain that I can fix it by power cycling the relay and without touching the valve itself?
Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
That depends - it solves boiler heating or valve closing?
Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
It has not happened again but power-cycling the relay resolved the problem that the boiler was swtiched on without the valve being opened
Re: Boiler switched on with all valves closed
Guess that is different issue then
