I've been selected and have bought 4 valves. Waiting for receiving them, but testing in summer?

It actually makes sense to test them in summer, mainly because if something doesn't work you won't be stuck in the cold.

Yes that's a good point, but with 35 degrees I will put them a little bit less time on :)

think when the first "open" valve should send an imput to the thermostat that runs the boiler. When the last valve "closes" it must send an imput to the thermostat to switch off the boiler.
Only so will you have a total smart circuit

Not sure the entry is related to the post. In any case I think that you are partially right, I mean the valve does not have logic but only sent to the thermostat the measures and manual setup's of the temperature, but the actions itself are always taken by the thermostat. If thermostat temperature and all the valves are under the limits, the thermostat should turn off the boiler, otherwise turn on the boiler. Mainly a change of formulation but the same that your said.

Radiator Valve and thermostat in the same room

Post by whnagel » 04 Sep 2017, 05:54

i plan to install 1 of the 3 ordered radiator valves in the same room as the Netatmo thermostat is already installed.
Because today if the old radiator valve is set to 1 and the thermostat calls the boiler for heat it makes no sense.

in this case the radiator valve should always set to the same temperature as the thermostat.
Is the Thermostat Firmware able to sync thermostat temperature settings to the radiator valve? If not can i use IFTTT to make the sync?
