Radiator valve - motor cap

Post by bertdesmul » 11 Sep 2017, 11:36

I installed a radiator valve on my radiator in the bathroom last week. Although the temperature was set to 15° and it was about 20° in the bathroom, the radiator still heated up to make the bathroom even warmer this morning. Do I need to install the motor cap now? The app did not ask me to do this when I installed the valve, and also it didn't this morning.

Hi,
The motor cap only has to be installed when requested by the application.
About what you describe, there might be another issue with your Valve.
I suggest you contact us at support (https://www.netatmo.com/helpcenter/) in order to let us investigate and give you a solution as soon as possible.
Have a nice day.

I had the same problem with one of my valves. The feature "Calibrate the valve" in the app fixed the problem for me.
