[Q] setting different program temperatures

Post by freewing » 22 Sep 2017, 22:55

Hello,

I didn't understand HOW to set different temperatures in my daily program for my 2 valves.

I have the Thermostat placed in the living-room, while the 2 valves are installed on 2 different bathrooms where I'd love to have +1° than in the living.
But while in the living the desired temperature programmed is set to 20°, my 2 brand new valves in the bathrooms both ask for 16.5°.

What am I missing?
How can I define a program to get different temperatures in the bathrooms?

Thanks for helping
- Enrico

SOLVED: you simply need to change the GENERAL temperatures.
Sorry for the "stupid quiestion".

Are you sure you have solved the problem?

Have you tested if the valves turn on the boiler if they are set to a higher temperature in the daily program?

For my experience if you increase the temperature manually from the valve the boiler switch on. If you set from the daily program NO!
The heating start only when the room with the thermostat go under his temperature set up.

That is, automatic does not work!

I can confirm the behavior, but I do believe that's right!
The "philosophy" of the Thermostat is correct; valves depend on Thermostat.

In your situation maybe you'd need 2 Thermostats... or NetAtmo could enable such a function to "start the heating" even if only the valves ask for energy.

.
The philosophy is awful!
They said "you can control temperature with program room by room with valves".
But right now, without upgrade, you need one thermostat for each room for control the boiler. So the valves are now useless!
