Hello Netatmo Team
Thankfully there is a separate iOS app version that keeps the compatibility of the weather station with older apple device that are able to run iOS 4 or 5.

Does this app version also get an update to support the rain gauge?
I am considering to order the new module but only if I can display its data on my 1st gen iPad in the kitchen too.
Any statement to this? Thanks in advance!
[SOLVED] Rain gauge support for the iOS 4+5 app?
Re: Rain gauge support for the iOS 4+5 app?
Hi anyone ... Have to push this once...
Am I really the only one who needs ongoing support of the iOS 4+5 app version?
An official statement from the netatmo team would really be appreciated.

Hi,
No!!! You're not the only one...
I'm also hoping on the support for the rain gauge for iOS 5.
I also noticed that the dB-level is not mentioned while it is present in the Android-app.

Re: Rain gauge support for the iOS 4+5 app?
I mounted an old iPad on my wall, so that NetAtmo could replace my old, unreliable Lacrosse Technology weather station combo. The iPad looks terrific from across the kitchen, much prettier than the old LCD station, the problem is I can't choose the rain gauge readout, as it's an old iPad 1. Now, you may be wondering why I'm using an iPad series 1 for this, but that's just it -- I've got it mounted on the wall, as an appliance! It's perfect for an ancient iPad, I don't even care if there's screen burn it. Rain, (and in the future, wind speed) would be awesome.
Re: Rain gauge support for the iOS 4+5 app?
I have exactly the same setup (and issue) as Skybolt. My old iPad 1 is perfect for the Netatmo app, and I would love to have data from my rain gauge displayed too.
Thx. in advance

Why not try the web for the raindata.
Bookmark in safari my.netatmo.com
You can then use the IOS app for the normal scene. If has rained you get the rain data from the web app.
It would't be raining all day and everyday.

Hi,
Unfortunately no. This iOS4 support app will never support the Rain Gauge or the Anemometer. It is just impossible. Apple does not allow to post app for old iOS version. So, there will never be bug fix neither.
We can use the web application at https://my.netatmo.com
Best regards
