In order to change the SD Card you need to make sure it's a class 10 card. Note that in order to save the micro SD card from water and humidity, a dielectric grease is applied in the card slot that protects the pins.

How much grease must be applied? Where exactly? Grease on the contact surface of the SD card?

Is 32gb the biggest memory card you can use, if so can a future firmware update increase this? 32gb isn't giving me enough days recording. :-(

Several posts suggest getting industrial aka extreme versions of SD cards which are supposed to cope better with larger temperature ranges and are also faster than the included (cheap) SD card. This sounds a wise suggestion. I had originally found a Kingston card which fell in to this category and subsequently what appears to be a similar Sandisk product.

Unfortunately it seems that the now relatively 'small' capacity of 32GB are increasingly hard to find, for example only one Kingston card seems to be available in the entire UK.

What make/model and part number of card are people currently buying? What supplier and price in the UK if your also UK based?

Many thanks.

Agree, in coming years it will be a real problem ... And SD cards are not known for reliability!

What happens if we put a 128Gb or 512Gb ? Does it will format a 32Gb partition and use just that, it will it does not work at all ?
