Hi, I have a thermostat installed with 5 valves but one of them is not working properly.
I believe the issue is the signal strength as it is the farmer from the relay: is there any way to boost the radio signal provided I can’t move the relay?
Kind regards,
Michele
Relay radio repeater
Re: Relay radio repeater
Hello, have you managed to adress this issue? I am also in the same situation and wanted to know if there is a fix for this?

I'd pay good money for one or two of these.

Re: Relay radio repeater
I have the same problem, I contacted their support and got this reply (2 weeks later):
The Thermostat and the Valves communicate by radio with the Relay, and this same relay communicates in Wi-Fi with your router.
If the radio signal is too weak where the Relay is installed, there are different ways to improve it:
- Extend the cables of the boiler adaptor, using standard electric cables, to place it where the radio signal is strong. Use cables of 0.75mm² section if you wish to extend 10m or less, use a 1.5mm² section beyond.
- Install the Thermostat wired to the boiler and place the Relay on an outlet in a room where the radio signal is good.
I've not tried it yet as for the first option, I need to get the cable, and to be honest it's a pain in the backside due the amount of corners I have to get the cable round and a wall to drill through. To be honest I don't really understand option 2, so if anyone can clarify I would be grateful!

Re: Relay radio repeater
@Philfy the second option means you can use the NetAtmo Thermostat instead of the Relay to command the boiler leaving the Ralay free of cable so you can place it connected to an outlet where the radio signal of all the valves is good
