Open all valves - Boiler maintenance mode

Post by ollyj » 10 Mar 2019, 14:13

Hi all,

My boiler requires me to complete a yearly maintenance and in order to do this all valves need to be opened and the boiler off. I can then set the pressure etc. Does anyone know how I am able achieve this?

Thanks

Set all valves for 30°C and remove relay from boiler.

I have the same problem, but the current temperature is 35 degrees and the valves do not open.
What can I do?

I need to do the same thing. Boiler pressure is very low (~0.7 bar) and causes boiler to turn on to increase pressure (I think).

In my case the thermostat is directly connected to boiler and the relay is wireless.

After setting the valve temperature to max, how do I confirm the valves are open? Assuming the boiler is turned off so the radiators do not heat up.

if the room temperature is above 30, valves wont open... simplest way - unscrew them, this will fully open the valve on radiators
