Love the product, but don’t know how to set away. I may not be home, but my two dogs are. Odd, my yellow lab is recognized but my black lab isn’t. Also within the last week or so the yellow lab is being identified as a person, not a dog.
Any advise would be appreciated! I’d like to get an email or text or something if something funky is going on at home.

Thank you for your post.
The camera is meant to recognise only human faces. It can detect (not recognise) animals (not animal faces necessarily).
If your dog's face is recognised as a (human) face, I would recommend reporting it as "Not a face" through the app in order to help improve the algorithms.
This way your camera will not consider there is anyone at home when your dogs stay alone.

It does have a pet detect feature. It was, until recently, reporting just 1 of the 2 pets...in fact the smaller one. Now it sees her as a human, several months after having worked fine.
