Firmware 426, night vision not working
Re: Night vision doesn't work
Hmm, not much respons we get to a serious issue. Maybe we should just buy a cheap infrared light and place next to the camera. Maybe Netatmo could make a bundle. Buy a camera and get a free infrared lamp with your purchase.

Re: Night vision doesn't work
Now on version 440 but night vision still not working. When it’s dark I hear the clicking sound of the LED activating but the image is all black
Re: Night vision doesn't work
Something different though... now I hear the clicking sound but the red light won’t turn on
Re: Night vision doesn't work
The clicking sound is the b&w filter activating, so now I know that the problem is that the IR LED isn't being turned on, that's why I see the image in black and white but can't see much since it's all dark.
The IR LED may be broken or the firmware update has a problem activating it

lass reflects light. More than you may think. If you need good (night) outside coverage you need a camera outside.
You MAY be able to get away with building a black box around the camera to help minimize any external light but as you mentioned if the camera has a light this doesn't help.
