Can't select any wifi network in Security app

Post by PTR »

Hi all,

A little under two months ago, my doorbell suddenly stopped working. I've tried reinstalling it, by resetting the doorbell, removing it from the Security app and the iOS Home app, and attempting reinstallation again. However, all attempts are unsuccessful. There's also no white LED lighting up after a reset. Moreover, in the Security app, I'm not able to select existing wifi networks in my home.

Every time I start installation, I can only see an unknown network (unknown = onbekend, see screenshot). Has anybody have a similar experience and perhaps a solution?

Additional info:
  • The doorbell camera has been working perfectly for quite some time (> 1.5 yrs)
  • There where no changes to the network when the problem arose
  • I have multiple wifi networks active in my home, of which one dedicated for 2.4G only devices, none of them can be seen in the Security app
I have also tried starting an installation in other places with different wifi networks. Everywhere I am, the Security app only shows the 'Unknown' wifi network.
