My Doorbell keeps going into the Power Saving Mode and comes back up. It happens over multiple days, sometimes is stops for a day or two and then then continues again.
I setup ping (ICMP) monitoring of the camera on my home Prometheus server and here is how it looks in practice:
This is how it looks in the Netatmo portal:
The monitoring probe runs every 15 seconds. The Doorbell stops responding for ~12 minutes every time (12m30s). There is a clear pattern in the behavior. Netatmo already replaced the unit by a different one, same problem.
The Doorbell is connected to 230V with chime module on 1/High.
This flapping makes it completely unusable and embarrassing when I have guests and the chime does not ring.
Any ideas how to resolve this? Any idea what triggers the power saving mode?

Re: Power Saving Mode makes it unusable
I contacted the Support and they said that they have an issue with the 230v connected Doorbell.
They are working on an update to solve this issue (on my side, no more notification since 3 a.m. today, will see ...)

Re: Power Saving Mode makes it unusable
Same experience here. I have to add that there are days, sometimes maybe a week, when everything works fine and then it is back to the same Power Saving Mode pattern again. However, over the past two 'cycles' the doorbell disconnected from the network altogether and I had to power it down to reconnect.
Re: Power Saving Mode makes it unusable
In my ticket (2884141) the support also confirmed the 230V connection issue. And I experience the same as @AllChefSki where it works for periods of time and then goes into the disconnect frenzy.
Still on firmware 2.20.0 waiting for a fix.

Hi! The same problem. Don’t know what to do. I understand that it’s a problem of electricity. Thinking of buying another wire with transformer or built in transformer of Netatmo, that makes 12v from 230
Re: Power Saving Mode makes it unusable
Same here! Going online/offline every 20min which makes it completely unreliable and useless.
Firmware: 2.20.0
Chime module: 1/high
Voltage: 230

Re: Power Saving Mode makes it unusable
The interesting part of this mess for me is, that this actually started after the latest firmware update I guess.
I never had this status changes before.
So either it was just not written to the timeline or it was now issue at all. I also did not change anything in terms of wiring or else.
But I noticed that also the HomePod notifications are not working as often as before, I assume because the doorbell is in power saving mode then.
