Answers most of your questions.

There are as of this writing (July 2020) four different hardware revisions of the main station out there, but the outdoor and additional modules are all the same.
Only important difference: starting with V3 the Weather Stations are Apple Homekit compatible.

What would be the difference between a V3 and a V4 station?

I asked @Sandra_C about this once and if I remember correctly, the changes are minor. Identical components from different suppliers.

Is it possible that the CO2 sensors will get out of control at some point? I have a V2 main station. I have recently ordered an indoor sensor and assumed that this does not measure reasonably
https://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20252

Now I have 2 NDIR sensors. Both are significantly higher than the Netatmo as measured by CO2. Netatmo V2: 850ppm, NDIR sensors ~1200ppm (similar to the add-on module thought to be defective).
For me, this means at the moment that the Zusamtzmodul was defective but the main station is simply significantly below the correct value.

Hello all,

I just received my very first Netatmo Weather Station and mine shows as V5, so seems like there has been another hardware revision.

Thanks, I‘ll adapt this topic a little bit.

I just asked this to Netatmo and waiting for an answer - I have a V2 device which, according to the conversation, seems to be viable and there is nothing new compared with V5?
