Grothe Chime 43701

Post by wireworm »

I try to install the doorbell with this Chime.
Wiring according to https://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?t=19017
"trigger" C1 wired to + from transformer as described in Grothe manual
Transformer: Honeywell E3554N 8V/2A

Dorbell is working, chime is ringing correctly, when the button of doorbell is pressed. But: it is also ringing erratically approximately every 30 seconds (no regular interval) and only very short, like sparkling.

Thank's for any good idea!

Try the other „low“ Chime-Module setting, despite what the Doorbell reported during the setup.
Home: Weather Station (V3 + Rain & Wind Gauge, 3 additional Indoor Modules, Shield), Valves Starter Pack + 7 Valves, Video Doorbell
Office: Thermostat (V2), Healthy Home Coach, Smoke Alarm, 2 2in1 Sensors

Tried and seems to be successful (at least for the 15 minutes, since I changed the settings :-) ).

Thank's for the great advise -> RTFM is not always the proper way to approach things ....
