relay cannot be accessed

Post by mipaso »

Hello

I have a thermostat and a valve

since a few days they are not accessible in Netatmo apps (relay cannot be joined …)

BUT everything works perfectly in Homekit.

Something happens with Netatmo cloud solutions?

I fear yes as I have the same issue with the Camera that is totally manageable in homekit but not in the netatmo app

Everything - even Netatmo staff (not replying, not communicating about ETA ...)
Also - webpage is also not working correctly - was trying to check in FAQ if my schedule will still work, or valves will be "stuck" on last known state ... if so, then who'll pay for additional hours on Comfort+?
Manual controls are not enough, since mine will last for 2h. Here also- if offline, then there should be possibility for manual unlimited setting so at least it won't be super hot or freezing cold at night!
When offline - system should still allow for offline app control but just "degrade" to a "dumb" hysteresis without Auto Adapt.

And also this time FAQ loaded - it should follow Schedule even if Offline - that's something ... yet it'll still "respect" the manual boost time set in the app.
Too bad, that today I was measuring temp with external thermometer to set true temperature (was shuffling around the valves, adding new ones etc) - without that my bedroom will be 1*C too hot, and bathroom like 2*C too cold, but at least I'm not freezing.
Why smart home stuff is designed to relay that much on Online status ...
Will check HomeKit yet I'm unsure if I was setting it up ... probably not

EDIT:
HomeKit works, yet it doesn't allow me to set a time for certain boost like in the app - it just allowing me to not walk from radiator to radiator to make a manual boost. Not much.

Netatmo should at least implement re-follow/change the schedule in offline mode. This becomes very anoying last time. Cloud is down too often.

Was able to - at least I tunned up RealTemp and it went offline again ... but now it seems to work, so fingers crossed.
