Why valves are not sealed for steam or water spray?
I don't think to a full immersion of the valve in water but is not possible to lose money only for o little leak of water for a valve made for work in a hydraulic system.

Re: Valve sealing
i reckon if the mechanical part of the original valve fails, the electronics will be the least of your problem depending how quick you notice it #!
Re: Valve sealing
Sometime mechanical part can quickly be fixed and electronics is the main problem if is for a stupid reason and if you spent hundred euro for a product!HurdyGurdy wrote:i reckon if the mechanical part of the original valve fails, the electronics will be the least of your problem depending how quick you notice it #!

Re: Valve sealing
It only takes a very small leak to wreck one of the SmartValves. The leak I had was so small that the water evaporated as it left the valve so did no other damage apart from wreck the electronics.
